Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce in collaboration TiE Toronto and IIT-Alumni Canada invite you to join us for an information session on Angel investing in growth-oriented enterprises.
ICCC’s special networking meeting on April 26th will bring light to the growing Angel capital community in Ontario April 26th, 2012 – 6 p.m. – Boardroom at the Offices of Bennett Jones LLP, 100 King West, Toronto, ON M5X 1B8
Formal and informal investors seeding early-stage companies from personal wealth is not a recent phenomenon, but with past global economic downfalls and hardships, the activity diminished and lasting Angel investors largely went under the radar.
The Network of Angel Organizations – Ontario, administrator of the Angel Network Program (ANP) supported by the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development and Innovation, will be present to discuss their role, other government incentives such as FedDev Ontario’ Matching Funds Program and the Angel capital network as a whole.
Insight will be given on Angel investing trends today and the opportunities for multicultural participation.
If you are looking for another Evenue to apply your expertise and share your experiences, while having a stake in today’s innovation, please join us on the 26th of April.
Who will benefit from this event?
- Growth-oriented enterprises
- “Accredited investors” as defined by the Ontario Securities Commission’s Rule 45-802 (National Instrument 45-106)
- Serial entrepreneurs and professional investors
